Fresh Greek Salad

Greek style dressing tossed with lettuce, black olives, tomatoes, cucumber, feta cheese, red onion, and green bell pepper.
Ingredients -
1 head Romaine Lettuce, rinsed, dried and chopped
1 Red Onion, thinly sliced
1 (6 ounces) can pitted Black Olives
1 Green Bell Pepper, chopped
1 Red Bell Pepper, chopped
2 large Tomatoes, chopped
1 Cucumber, sliced
1 cup crumbled Feta Cheese

Dressing:
6 tablespoons Olive Oil
1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
1 Lemon, juiced
Ground Black Pepper, to taste

 
Preparation:

1. Add Romaine lettuce, red onion, black olives, green bell pepper, tomatoes, cucumber, and Feta cheese to large serving bowl.

2. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, dried oregano, fresh lemon juice, and ground black pepper.

3. Pour vinaigrette over vegetables and serve immediately.

Romaine lettuce called for in this recipe can be exchanged for spinach leaves or another dark, leafy variety of lettuce.
